Just like music, wine is an essential part of Viennese culture. In 1817, Ludwig van Beethoven resided in the historic house of Mayer am Pfarrplatz. During his stay in Vienna, he worked on the famous Symphony N° 9.
To honour the great composer, the winery Mayer am Pfarrplatz created a special wine – just as lively and spicy as the famous symphony and a real pleasure to drink.

Der Riesling zeigt schon in der Nase seine sortentypischen Steinobstaromen. Auch am Gaumen setzt sich diese Typizität mit einer lebendigen und sehr erfrischenden Säurestruktur fort.
Trotz des fehlenden Alkohols ist der Riesling sehr ausgewogen und harmonisch. Ideal als Aperitif oder zu leichten Fischgerichten.
Concentrated apricot and tropical fruit aromas with orange zest undertones. Very delicate and chiselled on the palate. Very smooth with a mineral character and with a fresh acidity curve on the finish. Blossom honey and apricot jam on the finish. This lively rosé sparkling wine is characterized by flowery and aromatic notes. Its creaminess on the pallet accompanied by slightly sweet berry-aromas and the fine, well integrated perlage distinguishes itself from the very first sip.

In der Nase dominieren fruchtig frische Aromen nach gelbem Apfel gepaart mit einer feinen Exotik.
